I do see the feedback saying they were able to use the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118749 on a PHEV of your 2021 Kia Niro. We have also received some feedback internally showing others who were not able to install it due to a different tail light connector. I recommend checking our tail light connectors to determine if you will be able to use this on your specific Kia. It is not recommended to open the rear hatch on your 2024 Kia Niro PHEV with a trunk mounted bike rack like the Yakima FullBack 2 Bike Rack # Y02634 installed. You will want to remove the bikes and rack before opening the rear hatch to prevent any damage to the door hatch which could be caused by the clips holding the rack or the additional weight on the hatch door.

We have a set up that will allow you to add crossbars, however I checked with our vendors and did not see a hitch available for the 2023 Kia Niro PHEV and there's no indication that one is coming. Nobody made one for the 2022 either so it's not looking like there's going to be one.

The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C77NR will fit the 2023 and 2024 Kia Niro PHEV. Gas models require lowering the emissions canister so the hitch can fit. We have only had the one instance where someone felt the need to completely remove it, but they reinstalled it after. Complete removal is not necessary. Even with your e-bike weighing only 38lbs the compatible trunk-mounted bike racks for your 2021 Kia Niro PHEV unfortunately just aren't going to have enough capacity. Even though you'd only be using one of the spots on the rack the extra weight is going to wear on the rack and eventually break it and you'd be without a warranty. Instead you'll need a roof rack:
